Meg: In wireless net cafe in Strasburg and have finally got the #$%* mp3 fixed :) Thanks to wonders of modern technology and the help desk at iriver lol. Not to mention am using own keyboard not a french one so life is goooood!!
Ve: We've been to 2 museums, one was the Alsation museum and the other was the zoology museum. My two latest crazes are weaving and metal work - yes i know they are very different, but i think i'd better stick to weaving because i'd be hard pressed to find a forge these days. But it worked out well going to the Alsation museum because we saw a forge, all the kitchen sets, the toys and the wine cellars. We went to the top of the Strasburg cathedral and the view was really really good!

Always look forward to reading about your journey. Keep it up! It sounds a little more interesting than life in Perth. Still envious as hell, BTW. Good luck and best wishes. Gab
Hi Megan and Vera, So happy you are doing the dream. The blog is great. Jake , Gemma and I are watching and enjoying.
Au revoir, Madame et madamselle. Is that right Vera, I haven't done French since high school XXXX Cathy
Hi there Megan and Vera. You guys look like you are having a wonderful time and we are very jealous! We are all well here in Sydney and took Amachie out for lunch for her birthday (today) and their wedding anniversary, which was last Saturday. She is going OK. Han has started uni and has sooo much work, she can't believe it. Gem is trying out tonight for her water polo team to go to Hawaii. I am working away and we finally had some rain which is great. It is actually quite cool today so it looks like autumn is finally here. Keep up the excellent adventure and we'll keep watching. Take care, Lots of love, John, Marea, Han and Gem xx
Hi you two adventurers, it's Leesa and Curtis who are now living in Karratha for a while. Wow the blog is fantastis I wish we thought to do something like that! Well our weather is the complete opposite to yours, never going below 38" here. We are on yellow alert at the moment for cyclone George, so we are preparing for that! The boys first so it is quite exciting for them.(they don't have to do cleaning up afterwards). We will keep tuning in on your journey and fill you in on ours as well. (obviously not quite as exciting as yours though, but a journey nevertheless) xoxo Curtis and Leesa
hey kids. how is it that you have the kinda luck which means you rock into a city and it HAPPENS to be carnival day. hahaha?! I rock into a place and there will be 3 day old confetti all over the ground along with rotten toffee apples. hehe. Actually, I coincidentally arrived in Wagin on drive route from Esperence for - wait for it - the Wagin Wollarama!!!! So rivals any French carnival. Grin. I still don't get how you can be using your own laptop in a net cafe. Wanna explain that to me one day? Love lots. kt PS Ve take it from someone who just lost a finger...stick with the weaving! Metalwork sounds like way too big a threat on your digits. =]
